Why this Course?

The Western Theater 11K offers a tour of gentle rolling coastal hills, oaks, and wildlife. It’s one-of-a-kind because the entire race is on roads without public car access. The course was inspired by a neighbor who asked if Race the Commons would offer a wheelchair accessible race near East Garrison, CA. Fort Ord National Monument has trails for everyone, and although a bit bumpy, this course is 100% accessible.
